"How do I know this app won't disappear too?"

Fair question after TV Time. Here is the deal: your data is never hostage. One-click export from day one, a public roadmap you can vote on, and a changelog that shows the work. And the economics are honest: one person with tiny costs does not need 26 million users to survive.

Why Stillwatch exists

TV Time shut down and took years of watch history with it, overnight. Every episode marked, every rating, every rewatch: gone for anyone who did not get an export out in time. I was one of the people staring at that deadline with a decade of tracking on the line.

So I built Stillwatch in days, as the lifeboat. Not a polished company plan, just a place where that history could land safely before it disappeared, and then keep growing.

That is why imports and exports are free here, forever. Holding your history hostage is the exact thing Stillwatch exists to fight. You can bring your data in, and you can take every bit of it back out as CSV or JSON, any day, no questions asked.

Stillwatch is built and run by one person. It moves fast, it listens, and every piece of feedback lands directly with me.

FAQ

Is the import really free?

Yes. Import, tracking, rewatches and export are free forever. Your history is yours; we never hold it hostage.

What exactly can you import?

The official TV Time GDPR export (the zip with tracking-prod-records-v2.csv) and the TV Time Out extension files. Shows, episodes watched, movies, ratings, watchlist, rewatches.

TV Time is gone. Can I still get my history back?

If you grabbed a GDPR export or used the TV Time Out extension before the shutdown, yes: upload it here and everything comes back. Check your downloads folder and your email for that zip; a lot of people saved one and forgot.

Which data source do you use?

TheTVDB, the one the r/TVTime community demanded, so niche shows and full episode lists actually exist. TMDB fills in movie data.

How is this different from other trackers?

You import everything free, and there are no ads, ever. The features other trackers put behind a paywall (streaming filters, your stats, custom art when it ships) are just free here. And your history stays exportable, so you are never locked in.

Can I leave Stillwatch anytime?

Yes, one click exports everything as CSV. If we ever disappoint you, you walk out with your data. That is the whole point of this app existing.

Stillwatch. Your history, yours forever.
